Month of Bumps! (33-36)

Dear Abigail,

Today you are 36 weeks...I seriously cannot believe it...where has the time gone?!  Dad and I are so excited for your arrival, and I think you are as well!  In the last week, you've been doing a lot of stretching, which means it's probably getting tight for you (and a bit uncomfortable for me), so after next week, feel free to come whenever you're ready!
In the last month we've done lots of exciting things together.  We went to your second baby shower (there were a total of 3 thrown for you!), went on a few weekend trips, finished setting up your nursery, and now just waiting for your arrival.  We had a doctor's appointment last week and got to see you again!  They say you're 5 1/4 lbs now...that's fine by me  :)  It was so fun to see you during the ultrasound; you had your little wrist on your forehead in a very dramatic way- Dad's nervous you may be taking after me...we shall see  ;)
Summer will be so much fun with you around!  We built a deck earlier this year and hopefully we can catch some rays (well, shade for you  ;) and hang out in the sunshine together....we can't wait to meet you soon...wonder what kind of person you will be...!

Love you to bits,
Mom

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...
