First Comes Love...

This past weekend we invited our friends to Leavenworth for Tree Lighting. It was super busy in town (not the highlight of the weekend...) but we enjoyed some fun times back at the house. We celebrated our munchkins turning three with a pony party last weekend! Although it was late in the birthday season, the kids loved spending the day together riding ponies, jumping in bouncy houses, making s'mores, and getting their faces painted; all while eating pizza. Pretty much three year old heaven. Abigail loved riding and got right in there upon arriving, but being the terrible  parents we are, we didn't get a picture. We're knee deep in Halloween 2012! It's fun celebrating with a toddler who seems to understand the concept of dress-up.  I've been able to suit her up as both Pepples Flinstone and a fish without complaint. Saturday night Elle and Vanessa hosted a fun Halloween party where Kevin, myself, Abigail, Dan, Anne, and Henry went as The Flintstones.  It was so much fun going as a group, and the kids had a great time at the party; playing with drum sticks, dinosaurs, and party straws. Two pre-party pictures of the gang: Abigail and Henry partied until 10:30pm!  Abigail loved watching everyone dance in the dining room (we even joined for a bit).  She would sit on her knees, rocking back and forth, and smile from ear to ear.  It was adorable. She also attempted to ride Henry earlier in the night. I look over and there's Henry crawling around, Abigail positioned by his side, one leg up over his back.  I guess he looked sturdy enough  ;) Last yea...

Yesterday we celebrated our PEPS first birthday with a BBQ at Carkeek Park. So much delicious food, cute decor, and wild, walking one year olds! The gang!   The babies (now toddlers- eek!) have come so far together, and it's been a joy watching them grow and become great friends over the last year. Brogan helped push the wagon Brogan, Abigail, and Owen Amanda and Caroline, with Steph and Brogan Amy, Griffin, Abigail, and I Amy made delicious (and adorable!) cupcakes for the kids And who enjoyed their cupcake the most?   I'll give you one guess....
