Santa 2017

We saw Santa last night!

The kids are always extremely excited to see Santa each year, and this year all three were totally on board.  No one was scared - they all couldn't wait to see the big guy and let him know exactly what they wanted for Christmas.

George has been especially specific this year, so he came prepared with Amazon links  ;)

Abigail is asking for a pink camera, George wants a few (extremely specific!) Power Rangers items, and Ben wants Elmo.

Per our growing tradition, we visited the Macy's Santa, then went to P.F. Chang's for dinner.  There was also a caroling competition in town that evening, so as we walked back after dinner (in the pouring rain!) we stopped to listen to some carolers and even saw another Santa.

A Minions citing at Westlake Center!

Overcoming her fear of escalators!

Ben was quite certain this something he should bring home

"Les see....I want dis, and dis, and dis, and dis, and dis, and DIS!"

Another fun year seeing Santa in the books!

Merry Christmas, friends

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.
