20 Week Bumpdate

Hi Baby!

Today marks 20 weeks (where has the time gone??)

While Dad and I hold strong to not finding out your gender, we're looking forward to seeing you at your anatomy ultrasound on May 3rd!

Here are some fun things you've been up to the past few weeks:
  • We felt you kick while lying in bed last Friday night (4/19).  Unlike your sister, you didn't shy away from Dad's touch
  • Yesterday I saw your first little kick from the outside.  You're an active one!
  • Abigail enjoys resting her head on my tummy.  We haven't started talking about Big Sister duties yet, but I think she knows you're coming.
  • My wacky cravings are gone, but I'm newly obsessed with coconut ice cream.  Just because  :)
  • You were kicking like crazy on the flight back from San Francisco.  A future pilot?
  • You favorite dance party times are early in the morning (while I'm still asleep), and at night before bed.
  • We started water aerobics last week.  You seem indifferent, but I'm sure a fan!

20 week Bump with 20 month Bitz

I cannot believe you'll be here in just 4 months!

It's time for me to start grasping the concept of life with two babes  :)

I love you.

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!
