Deep Breaths

I've gotta remember to breathe today, my nerves are getting the best of me.

We packed the bags last night: Abigail's diaper bag full of outfits, blankets, hats, and other little items, and loaded ours with movies, books, iPod, camera, and comfy clothes.

Didn't sleep too well last night, but I'm feeling good so far today.  I'm chugging along... taking deep breaths as I go.

Took out the trash, made our bed, got my bangs trimmed, ate lunch, and stopped by Blockbuster to rent the Harry Potter series....  so I guess we're set.

She's going to be a Seafair baby!

The Angel's are in town to welcome her arrival, the city is buzzing, and the summer air is warm and sweet.  I can't think of a better weekend to celebrate the birth of our baby!

So here we go, Abigail!  You've got everyone rooting for you and so very eager to finally meet you.

See you soon my Little Lovies!

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!
