Birthday Shenanigans

Wow.  It has been a busy, busy week!

Finally coming to an end and resting up tonight for a weekend full of festivities.... one of these days I'll get some down time.

Wanted to share the pictures below from Kevin's birthday dinner at the Needle and his surprise happy hour last night at Maximilien's.  Thanks again to everyone who came out last night and made the evening so special; you guys are the best!

Kevin with his birthday ice cream

Seriously, the cutest picture ever

Littles loved the monorail!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  We're looking forward to Dan and Anne's baby shower tomorow afternoon (their little one is due October 7th!) then a concert at the zoo on Sunday night.

Maybe rest on Monday?...

love the pic of Kevin and his baby girl! Also how stunning is the view from the Space Needle. I've actually never been, so that is definitely on my must do list for Seattle! Abigail has been quite the socialite in her short little life! How fun!

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!
