George is Five!

There aren't many people who love birthdays as much as George, which makes celebrating him especially fun!

George has been talking for a while about a Chuck E Cheese birthday party (thanks YouTube channels 😏) so we finally gave in and everyone had a great time.




The day started with breakfast in bed, followed Sissy's first soccer game, then his party later that afternoon.

George, we LOVED celebrating your big day!

You are the sweetest kid who feels everything so deeply - watching you experience your party with such enthusiasm is such a parenting joy.

Now here you are going into your 5th year and I can't wait to see your growth this year - this transitionary year from preschool into Kinder is sure to be a big one!

Here's what's new / what you're currently loving:

• You love wearing suits and recently transitioned to a track suit (which is a nice break from the 3 piece you wore for almost two weeks straight!)
• When you're excited to tell me something, you run up to me and say "But But But...let me tell you something!"
• You still love Power Rangers but your new obsession is money - welcome to the club, my man 😉
• You're OBSESSED with YouTube
• We signed you up for karate last spring and you look forward to it each week
• You're really good at math and I suppose I have Baldie's Basics (an extremely irritating YouTube show) to thank for it 
• You prefer sleeping with a nightlight so we got you a red light / green light one that you're really enjoying
