Fourth of July, 2018

Another memorable year at Alderbook is in the books!

The 4th has become my favorite yearly tradition as a family; the kids love going to "Mommy and Daddy's wedding" and it's a great excuse to spend some QT here once a year.

This year's high and low lights include a sick George (poor guy spent most of his time in bed or laid out on a picnic blanket in the shade) and my first swim in the hood canal (how have we never done this before?  It's like bath water!)

Here are pictures from this year's celebrations, if you'd like to see:

Scored an awesome view!

Future engineer - this guy could have spent all day doing this

Slime was a big hit at the kid's craft table this year

Time to jump in!  George said he wanted to go in as well but changed his mind.
I'll give him the sick-kid pass 😉

The 4th of July parade is always a highlight

We hope you had an equally memorable holiday - Happy Fourth of July! 💥
