George gets the award for kid most excited for Christmas this year and his Christmas Social earlier today takes the cake!
He's been walking around with the invitation to his party in hand for more than a week now and asks us to read through the program multiple times a day. He was so excited to perform their three songs (Red, Red Hat, 5 Little Gingerbread, and Silent Night) and decided to wear his suit 😍 In addition, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, and Mamie joined us which made it extra special for our little star!
Here are pictures and video from his big day:
Off to school - it was also pajama day for K-3 (invitation in hand)

💕
Needless to say his suit is big

A surprise Santa visit was a highlight
Opening his gift (a Christmas book) from Mrs Rowe
Telling Santa exactly what he wanted and being sure Santa knew he lived in Issaquah
George is the most spirited, goofy boy I know; having the privilege to be his Mom and see the world through his eyes is a gift beyond my wildest dreams.
No doubt he will remember this much-anticipated day for years to come 🌟
Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound. Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...
We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.
