Three Years!

Three years, (almost!) two babies, and one remarkable love later, here we are celebrating our third wedding anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Lovies.

As I was putting Abigail to bed last night (the second attempt...) the sun was setting and it dawned on me that this time three years ago, we were spending an unforgettable evening with friends and family; watching the sun set over the Olympics, taking a moment to appreciate this special time, and soaking in all the love surrounding us.  The eve of our wedding!

Rocking Abigail to bed with those chubby baby arms wrapped tightly around me, I thanked God for the blessings in my life- especially for you and this beautiful family we are creating.

Thank you for being by my side through this ever-changing journey, loving me with all your heart each and every day, and most of all, for being the most amazing husband I could have dreamed of.

I love you more each day.

Tonight we'll celebrate with dinner at Matt's, followed by a movie at the Big Picture.

I can't wait!

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.
