Miss Sticky Fingers

We’re back!

Abigail’s a bit under the weather, so I’m trading today’s post for lots of baby cuddles, naps, and an un-Godly amount of daytime TV.  I’ll be back tomorrow, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a quick story.

Abigail had her first "sticky finger" experience yesterday... yep, she shoplifted.

Before leaving yesterday, we headed out for a last minute shopping fix and as usual, I used Abigail’s stroller to hoard embarrassing amounts of clothes  and accessories around the store.

While at H&M I found an adorable headband for $1 that I quickly decided was perfect for Abigail.  So I plopped it in her stroller while we finished shopping.…

Fast forward an hour and here we were, trying on bathing suits at The Gap, when out of nowhere she pulls out the headband from her stroller- tags and all!

Abigail!!

After a good laugh and some jokes about the bad behaviors of shop lifting, we decided she'd go back to the store, let them know what she’d done, and pay for the item…

A little embarrassed...
"Do I really have to pay for this?..."

"Alright H&M dude, you win"

I think she felt pretty good about doing the right thing, and I learned my lesson as well  ;)

It feels good to do the right thing!

Be back tomorrow for more stories from the Bay!

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...
