A One Month Celebration

Last night we gathered family and friends to celebrate Abigail's one month birthday.

Festivities included pizza, party hats, sparkling cider, balloons, and a funfetti cake!

Abigail finally got to meet her second cousin Oskar (who was due exactly a week before her) and hang out with her future friend, baby Clayton.

Abbie and Oskar!

Abbie's crazy party friends!

Oskar (16 days older than Abigail)

The birthday girl!

It was a fun party!  So much so that poor Abigail was a bit overstimulated come 9pm (note to self)

But hey, such is the life of a party girl  ;)

Can't believe that Abigail is already 1 month old! thanks for being such a faithful blogger, you'll never know how much we love it! She really does look like her Daddy's baby pictures...Wow! I love how blonde she is...can't wait to hold her and kiss her and play with her!

20 week ultrasound

Yesterday Kevin and I went to our 20 week ultrasound.  Everything looked great and the two questions still lingering in my mind were confirmed. 1) Yes, it's a boy! 2) Nope, I'm not having twins  :) I've heard it a million times: with each pregnancy you pop a little sooner, but when I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks, I thought surely there must be two in there... Here are some pictures, if you'd like to see. During George's 20 week ultrasound Kevin admitted he'd almost fallen asleep, so I will admit: I had a hard time staying awake this time  :) But we did get to see him in 4D ultrasound which we've never done before, so that was really cool. So fun! After our appointment we went to breakfast at Salish Lodge and took my first Month of Bumps picture. (cue shrills of excitement from everyone eager to see belly pics for the next 4 months!) Before taking the picture I (lovingly) assured Kevin that yes, we would be taking...

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!

A Suburban NYE

We partied hard with neighbors for New Year's Eve this year, and it was perfect - no need to dress up, tackle crowds, or spend big bucks - add to that great friends who are also neighbors, and it's a win/win.
