First Comes Love...

Another Abigail Lauckner art and classwork installment is here! The adorably shy picture they took of Abigail her first week of school, and insist on using in EVERY piece of picture art  ;) Painting Frosty Practicing cutting and gluing Snowman decor  ;) Angel with hand wings Abigail made this with me at her school Christmas party.  I asked her to make a HAPPY reindeer.  HA! She's been doing great with writing (now writing her name all by herself!) and loves showing me her work when she brings it home each week. Too sweet.

Our little Bitsy Girl turned four and a half earlier this month, and I thought I'd celebrate with an interview.  I'm not sure she fully understood all the questions, but it will be fun to see how these answers change and mature over time. Happy #5, Benny Boy! You have grown up so much this past month, and in the sweetest ways possible.  You adore a good tickle or friendly face and can't seem to soak in the world around you enough; every time I look at you, your eyes are quickly scanning the room, working hard to put all the pieces together. A smart little guy, you are  :) This month I moved you to the nursery.  It was becoming increasingly difficult to put Abigail and George to bed at night, but putting them together in a room has made bedtime simple - they love being together.  As such, you now have your own room!  It's so sweet being back in a nursery with a little one.  Since George was in our bedroom until he was 5 months, then living at Gma and Gpa's for another 6 months, he wasn't in his own room until his first birthday.  So, in many ways, having you in a nursery reminds me so much of my first time around the Motherhood block, and many nights it fills me with such joy just...
