two months

Man, life is busy with three kids four and under, but I'm loving it so far! Before you came along my days were more relaxed, but I love the energetic chaos of three; it suits my dysfunctional need to be super busy all the time. We've had a really great month; celebrating your first Halloween , and spending a bunch of time in Leavenworth - we're back up there this week for Thanksgiving and I can hardly wait. Every day you're transitioning more from infancy to babyhood, and while I love the early days, I do think I prefer the early months- those first big smiles and coos, rolling over, and finding a rhythm to the day. I feel like I've gotten to know you so well this past month, and what a sweetheart you are. Here's what's new: Last week you started going to bed around 7-8pm and waking for the day around 7-8am Between that time, you wake to nurse around 3-4am, then again at 6-7am.  You're a great sleeper! School Pictures, 2015

Life was pretty busy when Abigail went back to school this year. Her first day of school was a week before Benjamin arrived, and picture day were a mere DAY after baby brother arrived on the scene. She's the sweetest.  100%

The kids went as Minions, which of course I planned sometime back in August (ha!)  I got my Mom working on revisions by late September, and so the planning process was pretty light this year (for me anyway.  Thanks again, Mom!) At the last minute ( we're talking a day-of, nap time "ah-ha" moment ), Kevin decided to go as Gru, which left me out of the loop, but with nursing and the general requirements of Mommyhood, I had enough going on.  Either way, it was a lesson learned.  Starting next year, it's back to family costumes (it's just so fun!) Anyway, we stopped by Gma and Gpa's on the way out to West Seattle to show them the crew.  Being the great cheerleaders that they are, they dressed up in support of our little broad  :) After hangin' with the fan base, we were off to Mamie and Papa's for the party! Since the weather was rainy, they ...
