First Comes Love...

It took me a minute to do the math and figure out that indeed, yesterday was your 14 month mark.  As I once mentioned in Abigail's 13 month post , it gets confusing and a little weird to continue counting months past a year, but alas, here I am  :) We got back from Leavenworth tonight and had lots of fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend.  It was cold (around 15 degrees each morning!) so time outside was limited, but you had lots of fun playing in the house Dad made (with the right amount of creativity, a 5 drawer dresser box can yield hours of fun!) and laughing as we played with the helicopter in the living room (you and Sissy get such a kick out of watching it go way up in the sky). This month I've noticed a lot of intellectual growth, so it's been fun teaching you new things (you love the challenge and think it's pretty funny too!) We celebrated our munchkins turning three with a pony party last weekend! Although it was late in the birthday season, the kids loved spending the day together riding ponies, jumping in bouncy houses, making s'mores, and getting their faces painted; all while eating pizza. Pretty much three year old heaven. Abigail loved riding and got right in there upon arriving, but being the terrible  parents we are, we didn't get a picture. Last night we hit the streets of Klahanie for some Trick or Treating fun! After last year (and the year before , and the year before that) I promised I would stop dressing us up as a family, and I've gotta say, it was so relaxing to sit this year out. Abigail went as a cat (her fav!) and George was as a puppy. Yesterday morning I volunteered at Abigail's school which was a lot of fun.  I got to hang out with her for a morning of trick or treating, playing games, eating cookies, and making crafts for their classroom Halloween party. She had a blast!  Albeit tired at some points... She's the baby of the group; the youngest in her class Trying to sleep after circle time Trick or treating at the nursing home Tired... But happy!
