Fall is here!

I was really digging summer this year and could have used a few more warm days.  But alas, October, flannel, and pumpkins arrived and (eventually) my Fall spirit followed.

We have yet to take the kids to the pumpkin patch (Mamie and Papa did while we were at Oktoberfest last weekend!), but we're enjoy the cooler weather and the comfort food that comes along with it  :)

Here are some pictures of what we've been up to this past month:

Oktoberfest with Steph and Reid!

Bustin' a move, Bavarian style

We've been spending a lot of time in Leavenworth but also here at home, settling in.  We went furniture shopping this week and plan to start working on some projects soon.  Things are coming along!

Kevin's Aunt and Uncle (hi Jennie and Dave!) are in town from Michigan right now, so they're coming to visit this afternoon!  Having people over is what makes this house feel like home, so we can't wait to welcome them.

Enjoy the weekend, and maybe a little pumpkin spiced latte  ;)

Christmas, 2018

Happy Holidays - I hope yours were filled with all your favorite people and traditions!

It's Santa Time!

Kevin and I kicked it up a notch this year for our annual visit to Santa with dinner at Hamanasu followed by a night at the Hyatt! We've been waiting to make this a bigger deal (add the overnight piece) for a few years, but this was the first year we felt the kids were old enough for it - and it was sooo much fun!

Merry Christmas!

May your day be Merry and Bright!
