Happy Birthday, Kevin!
We spent an awesome 4 days on Lake Wenatchee this past weekend; relaxing by the lake, (attempting) to fish, playing in the water, and enjoying quality time together as a family. Our parents joined us on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Kevin's birthday; a wonderful day full of family, food, and the great outdoors.
Weekend highlights include Fish Lake on Friday (Abigail and i will not be invited back for the next fishing adventure...we may have mangled the line more than once), a trip into Leavenworth for pizza and dancing at the gazebo, a steak feast for Kevin's birthday, and relaxing by the bonfire that evening.
Here are some pictures of our trip.

While Kevin fished, Abigail and I fed Parmesan garlic pita chips to the ducks.
At one point, we had a crowd of 10! |

I already miss this trip.
Abigail is the perfect age for cabin getaways. The new stimuli keeps her busy all day and sleeping well each night. Plus, having the time away to unplug as a family is so necessary. Although we did have Internet service... which we used... often :)
We had such a great time and can't wait for our next family adventure!

Speaking of family adventures...
Baby update:
Our little acrobat is still flipping around (full breech last week, head down this weekend, now currently transverse) and yesterday was our version. Dr. Koala did her best, but Little One was resistant to move and we only got as far as a footling breech before calling it quits.
We were transverse before the version, and about an hour later, s/he flipped back from footling breech into the current favorite: transverse. Baby moves on no one's clock but their own :)
So...I have another 2 weeks to get this munchkin turned around. Acupuncture, Webster Method, ice packs, inversions, and pelvic tilts will consume my waking hours until then.
...stay tuned, and please send good baby flipping love our way!
