First Comes Love...

Just got done posting our favorite things, but missed one of my most favorite memories! Below are some pictures of Kevin and I getting our marriage certificate....such a fun day! Okay, that's it :)

You may have noticed that I have yet to post pictures of the house (sorry!)...the computer cord is still MIA. But on the bright side, the rec room will be finished on Friday so it'll be fun to do a quick before/after post once complete... and I find that mysterious cord. But anyway, I was looking through some pics today from earlier this year. So many memories of pre-wedding events, so I decided I'd share them. Crazy to think that it's been over 3 months since the big day. Looking back, a lot has happened since then: we went on the most amazing honeymoon ever, moved out of our apartment, bought a house, legally changed my name, bought a couch, got an alarm system installed (yes, I'm paranoid), remodeled the downstairs, and just got my hair trimmed (a big one for me...hey, I get busy with the little stuff!) So, for those of you who don't know- we decided to buy the Greenwood house! We started moving in on Labor Day weekend and are now officially out of the apartment and settling into the house. It's quite the task, but a fun process. We spent last Saturday running errands from 10am-8pm spanning from U Village, to Tukwilla and back again. Fun stuff! We were able to complete our William Sonoma registry as well as Crate and Barrel, and used some extra money from the wedding to buy a couch at Macy's home store. It's a custom order though, so an empty living room will remain for another 6 weeks. Also as an update; the downstairs is being remodeled from a bedroom and small rec room into one large rec room. Craig Williams (who's doing all the work on the downstairs project) is also working on a built in entertainment center against the East wall, so once we save some pennies, we can invest in a big screen TV! Okay, I'm finding it really hard to get back into blogging right now for a few reasons. 1) I'm super behind on updating you on everything and 2) I don't have our honeymoon pics downloaded on the computer that I blog from. I know...excuses, excuses. But either way, I do have a few pictures to share from Lucy's birthday, Schwingfest, and Kevin's birthday, so that's what we'll do today. How's that sound? Then next week I'm back at it and will get the honeymoon blog going. So... to my millions of follower (3 to be exact), without further adieu, I give you summer 2010 (minus any and all wedding related stuff) Lucy's birthday! During the earlier summer months (before we got completely inundated with wedding "to-dos") we were able to join Lucy for a ice cream parlor birthday party!
